1. What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data that a website stores or reads in a browser to remember a session or preference. This policy also covers local storage and equivalent technologies used for similar functions.
2. Scope and use
Credi Contable uses only technologies needed to provide, secure, and remember essential service settings. We do not use advertising cookies, commercial profiles, or cross-site behavioral tracking.
Strictly necessary cookies support the requested service, contract performance, and security. If law requires consent for a non-essential technology, we will not activate it before obtaining consent.
3. Essential first-party cookies
Depending on the page and account state, these categories may be used:
- Session and authentication: support sign-in, preserve access, and prevent impersonation in protected areas.
- Pending registration: temporarily maintains progress between account creation, plan selection, and payment confirmation.
- Active business: remembers the operating business selected by an administrator so the correct data isolation is applied.
- Public language: stores ES, EN, or PT to retain a visitor's choice, for up to one year.
- Security and continuity: technical values may support request integrity, abuse prevention, and basic operation.
4. Paddle and third-party cookies
When checkout or payment management opens, Paddle, as Merchant of Record, may set or read its own cookies to process the transaction, prevent fraud, remember the flow, and meet tax or regulatory duties. Paddle's notices govern those technologies.
We do not authorize Paddle or other providers to use Credi Contable cookies for behavioral advertising on our behalf.
5. Duration
Session cookies normally expire after sign-out, session expiration, or their security period. Persistent cookies such as language remain for the configured term or until deleted. Third-party cookie duration depends on the provider and applicable law.
6. Managing cookies
You can review, block, or delete cookies in browser settings. You can also sign out to invalidate access and change language through the public selector.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent registration, sign-in, business selection, checkout, or secure operation. Because we currently use no optional first-party cookies, we do not show controls for nonexistent advertising or analytics cookies.
7. Privacy and rights
Cookie identifiers and associated data are processed under the Privacy Policy and applicable law, including GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, and Latin American rules where relevant. Rights requests can be submitted through the contact page.
8. Changes and new technologies
We will update this policy when cookies, providers, or purposes change. If we introduce non-essential analytics, personalization, or advertising, we will assess the legal basis and provide consent or rejection controls where required before activation.
